PR Programs in Canada
Express Entry
It is a federal stream open to anyone interested in obtaining permanent residency in Canada. It administers applications in four categories: Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and various Provincial Nominee Programs.
Provincial Nominee Program
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) enable provinces to attract certain newcomers to their territory. Most provinces have a scheme to attract qualified individuals and new businesses to their region. Some of the common PNPs attempt to recruit self-employed farmers, health care professionals, overseas students, semi- or low-skilled workers, or have relaxed residency requirements in specific regions.
Self-Employed Farmer
All candidates must demonstrate that they have the farm management skills necessary to successfully operate a farm in Alberta. To do so, AINP requires all candidates to present financial papers for their current farming business, as well as proof of education, training, and job experience in farm management. Candidates for this stream must also submit a detailed business plan explaining their Alberta farm idea. Proof that a Canadian financial institution is willing to finance the planned farming enterprise must be included in this proposal.
Family Sponsorship
You can sponsor your family member to Canada if you are at least 18 years old and a Canadian citizen or anyone enrolled as an Indian in Canada under the Canadian Indian Act, or a permanent resident of Canada
